The Group
The UCM members of the group carry out their teaching and research activities within the Department of Applied Sociology of the Faculty of Political Science and Sociology. These activities are grouped within the area of Population, Territory and Migrations. This includes not only much of the research work, but also the various subjects taught, both in undergraduate degrees and in various masters, university-specific degrees and postgraduate courses offered by the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. The members of the group are affiliated with several national and international research programmes and with the main associations related to the field of population at a national level (Asociación de Demografía Histórica - ADEH) and at an international level (International Union for the Scientific Study of Population - IUSSP).
