The Grupo de Estudios “Población y Sociedad" [Population and Society Research Network] (GEPS) is composed of research units centers in different universities and research centers linked by a common interest in social issues where population dynamics are a key component. The research carried out within this network promotes the understanding of social processes from a multi-disciplinary perspective, both with respect to their causes and their implications for society. The members of this network are actively involved in the training of young demographers, as well as promoting an increasing awareness in society of these issues and their importance.
